ABSTRACT

We greatly appreciate Shi and colleague for their interest in our work ⁽¹⁾ . An important question they raise is whether our sample size is large enough with sufficient statistical power to predict the 6-week death or further bleeding in patients with Child-Pugh B cirrhosis and acute variceal bleeding.
